Seventeen years ago, I came painfully close to losing the people I love most. A relentless “crunch time” push at work left my family feeling like they didn’t matter. Like they came second to deadlines, late nights, and never-ending pressure. That moment changed everything for me.
I made a promise to myself: no one else should have to trade their precious time at home while grinding at work.
Since then, I’ve walked the path from software engineer to architect, from manager to director, always chasing one goal: to build teams that thrive without burning out. I’ve developed new technologies, mastered management techniques rarely taught, and proved that high performance doesn’t require personal sacrifice.
One day, I noticed the software development industry is still learning a lot of these painful lessons. Software delivery stalled. Crunch became culture. And too many have to personally sacrifice to keep up with demanding deadlines.
That’s why I founded Invirgance.
To help software teams break free from outdated methods. To show that delivering real value to customers doesn’t mean sacrificing your best people. And to prove that you can build world-class software… and still make it home in time for dinner.
